VI Peel ® | Rejuvenize, Revitalize, Idebenone, and Illuminize Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a great, simple, time-honored technique for all-around skin rejuvenation. Chemical peels can be separated into low-depth, medium-depth, and deep chemical peels. At Newport Beach Dermatology & Plastic Surgery, we offer a wide variety of low- and medium-depth chemical peels.

Low-depth (or ‘light’) chemical peels are an excellent way to unclog pores, brighten skin tone, and minimize sunspots. Light chemical peels are an easy, relatively inexpensive way to reverse and prevent signs of skin aging.

Light chemical peels are offered by our Medical Aesthetician, Lindsay Milewsky, Jennifer Moller, PA-C and Dr. McNeill. A variety of peels are offered, including the VI Peel®, The Rejuvenize and Revitalize peel, and the Idebenone peel and Illuminize peel. After a light chemical peel, you should plan for some light flaking or peeling of your skin for 2-5 days following the peel. Prices range from $125 – $250 for light chemical peels. Please allow us to examine your skin and recommend the right peel for you.

Medium-depth chemical peels, such as TCA peels, are performed by Dr. McNeill and Dr. Rosing. A TCA peel will improve color, freshness, texture, skin tone, and fine wrinkles. It will also improve superficial discoloration, such as age spots. Medium-depth chemical peels can be done on the face, neck, chest, or backs of hands. You should plan on some redness and peeling for 7-10 days following a TCA peel. Medium-depth chemical peels are priced at $650 for the entire face. This makes a TCA peel a very cost-effective way to peel back years of sun damage. These can be repeated yearly for a dramatic, yet natural-looking, result.
