Chemical peels can be a great way to give your skin the refresh it needs to slough away dull, dead skin and help improve pores, texture and even help with unwanted discoloration!  These peels are applied in the office and mostly have fairly minimal downtime to get you glowing in no-time! Here are our favorite offerings! Mandelic Acid : Light Peel Targets: Redness and Inflammation How Often: Can do weekly, regimen can be decided with your provider Downtime:  0-1 day of mild redness, little to no peeling Special Note: Special Note: OK for Pregnancy, Nursing   Salicylic Acid : Light Peel Targets: Acne, Dullness How Often: Can do monthly Downtime:  0-1 day of mild redness, little to no peeling Special Note: NOT for Pregnancy, Nursing   VI peel : Medium Peel Targets: Anti-aging concerns, Skin Discoloration, Enlarged Pores, Dullness, Breakouts  How Often: Can be done every 6 weeks, or once every 3 months for maintenance Downtime:  0-1 day of mild redness, Starts peeling around day 2-3 and peels for 3-4 days Special Note: NOT for Pregnancy, Nursing   ZO 3-Step Peel : Medium Peel Targets: This anti-aging peel contains a blend of salicylic, lactic, and trichloroacetic acid (TCA) in combination with retinol cream designed to treat acne, melasma, sun damage, fine lines, texture roughness, large pores, dullness How Often: Can be done every 4 weeks if needed, best done 2-3 times a year to maintain results Downtime:  0-1 day of mild redness, Starts peeling around day 2-3 and peels for 3-4 days Special Note: NOT ok for Pregnancy, Nursing   Cosmelan : Medium Advanced Peel for Pigmentation Concerns Targets: Hyperpigmentation, Melasma with a blend of HQ, kojic acid, azelaic acid, phytic acid, ascorbic acid, arbutin and titanium dioxide How Often: 1-2 times a year Downtime:  2-3 days of possible mild swelling, Peeling for days 3-5, Pink and mildly flaky for the 3 weeks following with the Cosmelan home kit Special Note: Not for Pregnancy, Nursing   For questions or to help find the right peel for you, contact our office at (949) 706-7886!
