Dr. Anne Marie McNeill, a board-certified dermatologist, practices dermatologic surgery, vulvardermatology and cosmetic dermatology. Born and raised in San Jose California, Dr. McNeill completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego, majoring in Chemistry. She completed both her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees under the Medical Scientist Training Program fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In medical school she was awarded AOA status, the national medical honor socitey. Her Ph.D. is in Pharmacology. She then went on to complete an Internship in Internal Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, returning to Orange County to complete her residency in Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine.

She has published over 20 articles and abstracts in the peer-reviewed literature. During her residency, Dr. McNeill was a recipient of the Women’s Dermatologic Society Mentorship program, and studied Vulvar Dermatology at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology in London, England. She is a member of the American Medical Association, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, an Affiliate of American Society for Mohs Surgery, a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and past President of the Orange County Dermatologic Society.

Dr. Anne Marie McNeill was named a “Top Doc” in Orange Coast Magazine, was a subject for the Physicians of Excellence and has been featured in several other publications. She founded Newport Beach Dermatology and Plastic Surgery in 2010 and is President and Medical Director of the practice.She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

She lives in Newport Beach with her husband and 5 children.



Dr. Robin Lewallen practices medical and surgical dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She has a special interest in complex medical dermatology, psoriasis and eczema including biologic medication management, and has a passion for early skin cancer detection using the latest technology such as advanced dermatoscopy and Fotofinder imaging.

She was born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina and completed her undergraduate education at Wake Forest University double-majoring in Biology and Economics. She completed a research internship at the CDC in Atlanta, GA. She then returned to North Carolina to obtain her M.D. degree at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She remained there for her medical internship in Internal Medicine and she completed her Dermatology residency serving as Chief resident. She was also honored as the National JDD Dermatology Resident of the Year! Prior to moving to OC and joining Newport Beach Dermatology and Plastic Surgery (NBDPS), she worked as a dermatologist Sunnyvale and Santa Cruz, California for three years.

She has published 13 articles in the peer-reviewed literature. She has written nine book chapters on various topics in dermatology and is the editor of three dermatology textbooks. She works on Wednesdays and Fridays at NBDPS and would love to see you for your medical and surgical dermatology needs.

When she’s not working at NBDPS, she works as a dermatology consultant for the technology industry. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, practicing yoga and cycling on her Peloton.



Dr. Larisa Lehmer practices medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. She has a special interest in the use of energy-based technologies to address an increasing array of dermatologic concerns and the surgical management of skin cancers. Additionally, she has a passion for evidence-based nutrition and its profound influence on the body’s ability to prevent and fight both cancerous and inflammatory diseases of the skin.

She is from San Luis Obispo, California, and completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees at Stanford University, where she double-majored in Biological Sciences and Slavic Languages & Literature and completed her Master’s degree in Russian, Eastern European, & Eurasian Studies. Dr. Lehmer is well-versed in the diverse medical needs of her Orange county community, as she completed her M.D., Internship in Internal Medicine, and Residency in Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine. In medical school, she was inducted into the AOA National Medical Honor Society for her exemplary service and academic performance. In Residency, Dr. Lehmer was Chief Resident of Cosmetics, working closely with faculty experts to coordinate the program’s aesthetic procedural curriculum.

Dr. Lehmer has published over 20 articles in the peer-reviewed literature and co-authored three book chapters in the areas of laser surgery in dermatology and histopathology. She received the a Sturge Weber Foundation Grant in support of her research with Dr. Kristen Kelly on the biology of port-wine birthmarks. She is also a recipient of the Jane Hill Cancer Research Scholarship for her work on aberrant angiogenesis.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking healthy plant-based meals for her son and husband, swimming, and singing.



Jennifer is a Certified Physician Assistant. She joined Newport Beach Dermatology and Plastic Surgery in 2013 after completing her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences. She has had formal training in family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, women’s health, general surgery, dermatology, and plastic surgery. Jennifer then underwent specialty training with Dr. McNeill and other leading dermatologists in Orange County in the treatment of acne, skin care, the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, and cosmetic procedures. Jennifer has performed thousands of skin checks and biopsies. She is recognized as an expert injector by Allergan for Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, Vollure, and Volbella. She is also highly skilled in other injectable therapies like Restylane and Belotero. She performs ALA-Blu light, Theraclear, PicoSure Tattoo and Skin Revitalization, Intense Pulsed Light, and Vectus Laser Hair Removal. She enjoys delivering beautiful, natural results to her patients.



Kristin is a Certified Physician Assistant. She has a 9-year history of practicing in a variety of high-demand surgical sub-specialties such as Orthopedic and Neurologic Surgery in Newport Beach. Prior to this, she spent time training in Dermatology and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at UCI Medical Center. She enjoys both medical and cosmetic dermatology.

Kristin completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Health Sciences at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2005. She was a certified EMT during her college years and went forward to get her Masters of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences in 2008.

Kristin delivers care for patients at NBDPS in areas including acne, skin care, skin cancer treatment and prevention. She performs Theraclear and Vectus Laser Hair Removal and laser and injectable treatments.

In her spare time, Kristin enjoys seeing family and friends and getting outdoors with her husband and daughter.



Christina graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Chemistry. She then went on and graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing. After graduating, she began working as a registered nurse in a multi- specialty surgery center. From gaining exposure to the many different specialties over the years, she became most passionate about plastic surgery and dermatology. She works under Dr. Ellstrom assisting with in office procedures, treating patients with TruSculpt and Coolsculpting, and aids in all nursing facets around the entire office. Christina and her college sweetheart, now husband, moved to Orange County from Arizona with their son, Kevin (a Dalmatian) in January 2018. They enjoy all aspects of Southern California especially hiking and spending time at the beach. Christina is extremely kind and loves putting a smile on everyone’s face. She can’t wait to meet you.



Paula is a native Southern Californian. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Southern California. As a licensed Registered Nurse, she began working at Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Although Paula loved working with infants and toddlers at CHOC, she left pediatrics to raise her 3 children. Given her desire to continue helping others, she spent several years volunteering at her children’s schools and doing philanthropic work. Later, she found herself back in nursing as a travel health consultant, vaccinating and educating her clients on international travel. Most recently, she became certified in Coolsculpting, which will help with her new job responsibilities in the practice. Paula brings positive energy and passion for working with others to NBDPS and looks forward to helping her patients feel their healthiest. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband, exercising, crafting and spending time with family and friends.
