Dr. Anne Marie McNeill practices general dermatology, vulvar dermatology, cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery including Mohs micrographic surgery. Born and raised in San Jose California, Dr. McNeill completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego, majoring in Chemistry. She completed both her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees under the Medical Scientist Training Program fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. In medical school she was awarded AOA status, the national medical honor society. Her Ph.D. is in Pharmacology. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, returning to Orange County to complete her residency in Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine. During her residency, Dr. McNeill was a recipient of the Women’s Dermatologic Society Mentorship program, and studied Vulvar Dermatology at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology in London, England. She is an Affiliate of American Society for Mohs Surgery, a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and past President of the Orange County Dermatologic Society. Dr. McNeill was named a “Top Doc” in Orange Coast Magazine, was a subject for the Physicians of Excellence and has been featured in several other publications. She founded Newport Beach Dermatology and Plastic Surgery in 2010 and is President and Medical Director of the practice. She is triple board-certified in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery by the American Board of Dermatology as well as Obesity Medicine.
